At PepperJack Poms, we have been training dogs since 1982, and we truly believe that every dog can learn new skills and improve their behavior, regardless of their age or background. We specialize in AKC Scentwork, a fun and challenging activity that taps into dogs’ natural scenting abilities. We are passionate about working with dogs and our goal is to teach them the skills they need to be happy and confident pets.
Scent Work Trials
Pepperjack showcased his exceptional skills at the Greater Port Charlotte Agility Club on April 5, 2025, earning an impressive five new AKC titles. He successfully completed his scent work Novice trials, adding the SCN, SIN, SEN, SBN, and SWN titles to his achievements. This remarkable accomplishment highlights Pepperjack's dedication and talent in the world of scent work. Congratulations to Pepperjack on this significant milestone!
Indy recently completed her Advanced Scent work trials with impressive results! On April 5, 2025, at the Greater Port Charlotte Agility Club, she earned four new titles: SIA, SEA, SBA, and SWA. Additionally, she achieved her first level 3 leg in Excellent Exteriors, placing 2nd. Indy also showcased her skills with another 2nd place finish, along with a 3rd and a 4th place, demonstrating her consistent performance and dedication to the sport!

Cricket is making remarkable progress in scentwork! With placements in 29 out of 38 trials, including seven 1st place finishes and two HIGH IN TRIAL awards, she has showcased her incredible skills. She has earned her Overall Scent Work Novice title (SWN), along with the Novice Buried Elite and Novice Container Elite titles. As she approaches the Advanced title, she has already secured her Advanced Exterior achievement.
